Susan Hibbitts is a native of Baltimore, Maryland, where she graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art with a degree in Interior Design.
She started attending gem shows over twenty years ago, collecting stones and beads to make her own jewelry. Several years ago she decided that she wanted to make more jewelry than she could ever wear and joined Carolina Mountain Artist Guild.
Susan has lived in Fletcher, North Carolina, since 1995, and loves the inspiration that the changing colors of the seasons provide. She plans to continue learning and expanding her craft.
Susan welcomes special orders and enjoys making one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry.
