Meet the Artists

Beth Nelson

Water Colors

Beth of Hendersonville, North Carolina, is an artist of watercolors.  Her favorite subjects are wild flowers and animals, especially bears.  Beth has  one painting in print called, Large Place.  During a very major and rare illness and surgery, the inspiration for this print came from Psalms 18, where God set me in a Large Place.  The original painting was done during her illness and is completely her own creation.  Beth takes custom orders in addition to the items she offers for sale in the Guild Store.

Beth has taken various extended curriculum courses at Blue Ridge Community College, especially benefiting from Hal Altura.  Beth has been painting for twenty-one years with, and in between her two children, Amber and Leah, now 22 and 18, respectively.

Beth also enjoys working with dried flower arrangements.  She thanks her husband, Mike, her girls and Christ, who is the Good Shepard.  He has kept me here a little longer.   I enjoy each new day.
